About This Project

Apex by Milla is a self-driven technical blog documenting every Formula One race on the 2026 calendar and beyond. Each post goes beyond the highlights reel, breaking down strategy calls, power unit performance, tyre compounds, aerodynamic setups, and the engineering decisions that define where drivers finish. Started at 16 out of a genuine love of engineering and a goal of working in the sport, this is a long-term passion project with no planned end date.

About the Author

Hi, I'm Milla. 🏎️

I'm a 16-year-old aspiring Formula One engineer with a passion for the technical side of motorsport. While most people watch F1 for the overtakes and drama, I'm fixated on the engineering decisions, strategy calls, and aerodynamic trade-offs that happen behind the scenes.

This blog is where I break down every 2026 race through a technical lens: tyre compounds, power unit modes, undercut windows, and all the detail that doesn't make the broadcast. Apex by Milla is my way of documenting what I learn and sharing it with anyone who loves engineering as much as I do.

Long-Term Goal

Study data analysis or performance engineering and one day work in an F1 team's race engineering department. This blog is part of that journey.
